Enjoy the unique experience of dining in an authentic wine cave!! Mysterious and elegant, the "Dining Cave" is dedicated to entertaining and setting the tone for our fabulous dinners. Owner and Winemaker Thomas Ingmire (or wife Kim Ingmire) will provide information and answer any questions about the wines, vines, and winemaking process throughout the meal. Talented, local chefs create a five course meal especially for our guests. Each course is carefully paired with a selected tasting of Clauren Ridge wine to compliment the flavors of the cuisine. Flame lights and tea candles add unusual flare for these "Dressy-Casual" dinners. Come as couples or with friends and enjoy the food, wine, and fun!! We will be offering two themes for the tasting dinners... Regular "Dinner with the Winemaker" and "Titanic Dinner with the Winemaker". The menus will change monthly for each theme, so enjoy them as often as you would like...
The most fascinating aspect of these dinners is that the entire dinner is served on EXACT replicas of the china from the First Class Dining Room on Titanic. This china was imported from the UK, and is the same china as seen in James Cameron's "Titanic" movie during the dining room scenes. Just as a century ago, the British potters from Stoke on Trent, England are still able to craft the exact pattern of this ultra-fine bone china as precisely as when the White Star Line specified it for Titanic. The backstamp on the plates, just as the originals, reads " 3 /1912 ", which was the month that the china was made and loaded onto this magnificent ship. This backstamp also reads "Stonier & Co., Liverpool", which was the supplier for White Star Line. This, along with 24K gold sculpted edging, is EXACTLY as the plates would have looked, as documented by plates recovered from the ocean floor. To further enhance this experience, dinner plates from Second and Third Class are shown during the dinner, and music that is known to have been played in Titanic's First Class Dining Room is heard overhead. These are the same moderately priced, "Dressy-Casual" tasting dinners, but with a very special twist... ***SEATING IS LIMITED*** and Pre-paid Reservation is Required. "Titanic" Wine Tasting Dinner
Clauren Ridge offers Titanic enthusiasts a truly original dining experience not offered anywhere else in the country!! In celebration of this timeless ship and her passengers, we are proud to offer a five course Wine Cave Tasting Dinner featuring cuisine prepared from the actual menu of the First Class Dining Room on April 14, 1912. As on Titanic, a paired wine tasting is served with each course (coffee is also offered with dessert).

6:30 Tour of the Fermentation Room by the Winemaker, discussion of winemaking, and a "Barrel Tasting" from a barrel of aging wine in the Barrel Room of the Cave
